Mountain Peak Tours allows you to travel in the comfort of your own four wheel drive and with the confidence that you are being guided each step of the way by experienced four wheel drivers who know and love the bush.
We take care of all the trip planning so you won’t have to worry about what to do if you get stuck, where you are going to sleep or what to do if you get lost. We will make sure you experience the little-known areas as well as the main attractions of the places we are passing through. We aim to make all tours enjoyable to everyone and we are family friendly.
Most of our tours are self-catered and bush camping which helps to keep your costs down. If you don’t have camping gear, we are able to hire this out when available. We can also include a catered option if you wish.
Once you have found the tour you want to come along to and paid your fees you will receive information on how to prepare your vehicle for the adventure. We will also send tips on packing and a list of what to bring.
On our trips we provide a basic sheltered camp kitchen including gas BBQ, fire to cook on (weather permitting) and to sit around and relax and unwind around.
We carry all GPS navigation equipment, recovery gear (although recommend you have your own), we are first aid certified and carry a Satellite phone for emergency use.
